ANSUL® SAPPHIRE® Clean-Agent Fire Suppression Systems are clean-agent fire suppression systems that are designed for use in protecting against fire hazards in occupied or non-occupied where electronic or other equipment is sensitive, and might be damaged by water sprinkler, mist, or other fire suppression agents. These sophisticated fire safety systems are particularly useful for suppressing fires in hazards where an electrically non-conductive medium is essential or desirable, where clean up of other agents presents a problem, or where the hazard is normally occupied and requires a non-toxic agent. The ANSUL® SAPPHIRE® Clean-Agent Fire Suppression System utilizes 3M Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid as the suppression agent.
Why even bother having a fire safety system, if it’s not going to work? Why buy one if it is going to become defective in a few months’ time? At KFPI, we realize how bothersome fire safety systems can be. We understand how challenging it is to maintain a semiconductor process line. Having to worry about a fire safety system is an added responsibility that few people desire to shoulder. We get it! We really do. But please don’t underestimate the importance of having one, and having one that works.
Fire is one of the gremlins of semiconductor process equipment. Great thought and energy have been dedicated to the task of designing process tools that have the lowest probability for fire hazard. But, all of the elements for equipment fire are still rooted in the reality incompatibles like heat, electricity, and flammable chemistries in ample quantities.
We design, install, and certify fire safety systems that are custom engineered for the specific tool upon which they are to be used. KFPI’s fire safety solutions are guaranteed to function as intended, and to comply with SEMI, NFPA, FM, and all local fire safety requirements, anywhere in the world.
Spring Du is the General Manager of KFPI operations in Asia, based in the Songjing District of Shanghai, China. She heads all KFPI sales, service, and logistical responsibilities in Asia. The primary function of the KFPI office in China is to support our front line operations with seasoned semiconductor technicians throughout China and the rest of Asia. Spring Du oversees the complex logistics of managing KFPI’s global fire safety solution installations in Asia, and the infrastructure required to maintain this operation.
On this Valentine’s Day, we hope that you will find an allowance of romance that fills your heart with a renewed warmth. Whether your day of love is filled with the amorous pangs of Eros, devotional ardor to friends, family, or faith, or noble veneration of the wonders of existence, we wish you a brief respite from a sometimes frigid and indifferent world.
Over the past 4+ years KFPI has been involved in the research, testing, and development of fire safety solutions regarding pyrophoric chemicals hazards. This included many projects regarding the fire detection and fire suppression/protection of energetic materials such as pyrophoric liquid metal organics like TMA (trimethyl aluminum).
Lawrence Sledge serves as the Purchasing and Warehouse Manager at KFPI. Lawrence is in his sixth year of dedication to the KFPI team. Lawrence is in his sixth year of dedication to the KFPI team. During his time in service to our company, Lawrence has become a cornerstone of our operations. He oversees our purchasing and inventory logistics, our component assembly and testing operations, as well as our packaging and shipment preparation operations.
